Follow these tips to keep your clothes and shoes looking good for longer. If anything below differs from the care label on your item, follow the care label.
Washing
For best results, wash clothes cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid:
- Hot water
- Bleach
- Overloading the machine
- Washing light and dark colors together
Air dry when possible: high dryer heat can shrink fabrics and fade colors.
Storage
- Fold knitwear and heavy pieces instead of hanging them, so the shoulders keep their shape.
- Hang blazers, coats and jackets on wide, shaped hangers.
- Store items clean and completely dry, in a cool, dry place with good airflow.
Shoes, Leather and Suede
- Wipe leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat.
- Use a suede brush on suede and keep it away from water when possible.
- Use shoe trees or paper stuffing to help shoes keep their shape.
Choosing Your Size
A size that is too tight or too loose affects how a piece looks and how long it lasts. Please check the Size Chart on each product page before ordering. Measurements are approximate and fit can vary by style and fabric. If you are unsure, email us and we will help you choose.
Ironing and Stains
Treat stains as soon as possible. Iron on the reverse side at a temperature suitable for the fabric, and never iron directly over prints, embroidery or hardware. Items labeled dry clean only should go to a professional cleaner.
